Review
The fourth and the fifth volumes receive a “6″ rather than the “7″ I gave the first three volumes only because – according to the translations, at least, which may not be the best sources of judgment but it’s all I’ve got – I just enjoy Cao Xueqin and David Hawkes’ style better. Or perhaps I’m just more used to it. Regardless, please see volume V for my complete review.
